Mine is in Pind Dadan Khan Tehsil of Jhelum District. Found in the approximate of 200 km (125 miles) from Islamabad
and Lahore, and entered via the M2 motorway, around 30 kilometers (20 miles) off the Lilla.
Khewra salt mines are 154 kms far
from Rawalpindi. The track is Mandra-Dudyal-Chakwal-Bhaun-Choa Saidan
Shah-Khewra.Extended track is through Kallar
Kahar-Katas.

Khewra Salt interchange while going towards Pind Dadan Khan on the Lilla street (road).The mine is in mountains
that are part of a salt range, a mineral-rich mountain structure expanding in the surrounding area of 200 km from the Jehlum River south of Pothohar Plate where the Jhelum River joins the Indus River. Khewra mine is in the surrounding area of 288 meters (945 feet) above ocean level and around 730 meters (2400 feet) into the mountain from the mine door. The underground mine spreads a region of 110 km (43 sq miles).

the Salt series, by way out points at Kallar Kahar and Lillah. You can reach
Khwera salt mines from those exits.
